A total of £111,790 was raised by the 26 riders who completed the Go Asia 2024 bike ride of 11,000 km from Bangkok to Saigon.
The bike ride was to raise money for Bolton Lads and Girls Club (BLGC) Mental Wellbeing Service, helping hundreds of local kids who are struggling with mental health issues.
For almost 10 years Primo Property Management (Forshaw Groups sister company) have supported BLGC as proud patrons. Forshaw Groups CEO, Lyndon Forshaw helped to raise £7,000.
“Funds are desperately needed to support, maintain, and grow mental health and wellbeing programmes for local children and young people, within the Bolton and Greater Manchester community. BLGC supports thousands of young people every day through their free open access youth club offer and specialised targeted youth services.
1 in 5 young people in the UK are experiencing mental health battles – right now. BLGC are currently inundated with young people’s referrals for their mental health services. The demand is currently outweighing the resources and their aspirations due to the local need is to grow and develop these vital services.” Lyndon Forshaw – CEO of Forshaw Land & Property Group Ltd.
